Hello Parents! Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Michelle Batista and I teach Kindergarten Bilingual at EJ Patten School.  I graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education.  I later received my Master's Degree in Bilingual Education from Rutgers University.  I have been teaching for the past 17 years.  I was selected as the Teacher of the Year in 2019, and it was such an honor! I love what I do, and that is to teach and work with children. I really look forward to working together to have a successful year in Kindergarten.
